Just in time means a system of production that makes and delivers what is need, just when it is needed ,and just in the amount needed.

 

Customers want the best prossible products at the lowest possible prices.and they want them as soon as prossible.

 

Just in time aims for the total elimination of all waste to achieve the best prossible quality,the lowest prossible cost and use of resources,and the shortest prossible production and delivery lead times.

Just in time relies on heijunka as a foundation and is comprised of three elements : takt time, continuous flow  and pull system.
