processes in the production sequence in a
single,smooth flow based on the rate of sales.

Takt Time=available working time per shift÷customer demand rate per shift

example:

27,000sec÷４５５pieces=59sec

Producing to takt time sounds simple,but is the result of concentrated efforts to:

・Provide fast response (within takt time) to problems

・eliminate causes of unplanned downtime

・reduce changeover time
