Problem Solving Steps
General procedure for problem solving is as follows:
1.Select theme for improvement
2.Set the target
3.Plan activity schedule
4.Investigate current situation
5.Analyze causes
6.Establish measures
7.Implement measures
8.Verify effectiveness of measures taken
lf measures taken were not effective then you should go back to step 5 or 6.
9.Standardize control method
10.Review the activity and make a future plan
what is important in going through the above steps is to apply statistical approach and collect factual data.
This is the general problem solving approach which is applicable to anyone.
